Individual strings are available in both Medium and Strong tensions, with the Strong tension offering a a fuller tone, with more resistance under the fingers.

The E-string comes in carbon steel or a 24k gold-plated option for a rounder, smoother tone. The Violin II Steel A-string option has a steel core for higher projection and longer lifetime, while the silver D-string option offers a warmer, more colorful sound.
