We are delighted to welcome violinist Niklas Walentin as a Larsen Artist.
With more than 25 international music awards, 11 albums and performances at venues including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall and the Mariinsky Theater, Niklas has established an international career as both a soloist and chamber musician.
A triple prize winner at the 9th Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition, Niklas has also received the Carl Nielsen Award and the Carl Nielsen Society’s Award of Honour for his work with Carl Nielsen’s music.
Alongside his performances, Niklas works as a tutor at masterclasses and as artistic director for several international concert series and festivals. He plays a J. F. Pressenda, bought and loaned to him by the Augustinus Foundation.
