This year Larsen Strings returned to Kronberg, and once again we had the pleasure of visiting the Cello Masterclasses and Concerts and meeting with musicians from all parts of the world.
How can I optimize my instrument?
Dr. Thomas Zwieg, Vice President and Product Development Manager at Larsen Strings A/S, hosted a workshop in collaboration with violinmaker and cellist Tobias Krutz. Workshop headline was how musicians can optimize the tonal quality and playability of their instruments and the two gentlemen discussed how strings, bridge and soundpost influence the instruments.
Testing strings with musicians
We are always very keen to keep a good contact with musicians. Understanding the wishes and expectations of string players is very important for our string development. Visiting the capital of cello provides us with new opportunities of testing strings with cellists and helps us define the strings of tomorrow.
