Yoosin made her recording debut with Dichterliebe, released by Sony Classical in March 2022. In collaboration with pianist Florian Uhlig, a renowned R. Schumann specialist and professor at the Musikhochschule Lübeck, she brought R. Schumann’s celebrated song cycle to the cello, marking the first recording of its kind in Korea. The release was followed by two recitals with pianist Ilya Rashkovskiy.

Her second album for Sony Classical, White Night, followed in November 2022, exploring the Russian repertoire with which she has a particular affinity. In 2024, she turned to another of the great song cycles with Winterreise, released by Warner Music Korea, offering a cellist’s interpretation of Schubert’s deeply expressive work. The album was subsequently presented in a four-concert nationwide tour with Florian Uhlig and Ilya Rashkovskiy.

“What impressed me most about Larsen Sovereign is its ability to combine a warm, rich tonal character with a clear and powerful sound that carries effortlessly.

Built on a deep and resonant foundation, the sound remains focused and defined, allowing the instrument’s natural voice to speak with clarity. This makes it possible to move naturally between the most intimate and nuanced passages and moments of greater intensity and energy.

Sovereign offers a remarkably broad tonal palette — from warmth, depth and subtle colour to power, presence and projection. For me, this combination of richness and clarity, together with its expressive range, is what makes Larsen Sovereign truly special.”
