About Ju-Young
Violinist Ju-Young Baek has performed at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Suntory Hall, etc. She has performed as a soloist with the London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra, among others. She has participated in festivals such as Marlboro, Ravinia, Aspen, Casals, Beethoven, Naantali, to name a few.
She is currently the leader of Ensemble Opus and was the leader of Sejong Soloists. She is a laureate of Indianapolis, Paganini, Sibelius, Long-Thibaud, and Queen Elisabeth International Competitions.

She was appointed as the youngest professor in the history of the College of Music at Seoul National University, in 2005. Her complete Beethoven violin sonatas recording in 2020, as the first Korean violinist to release them, received critical acclaim, as well as her complete Ysaye Sonatas album. Her violin: G.B. Guadagnini (1768).
